Alicia Jacobs, an Emmy Award Winning TV Producer and Special Events Guru, is the President/CEO of AJ Management, a consulting business specializing in marketing, public relations and event planning in Upstate New York. “It is personally rewarding working with small businesses, non-profits and individuals to reach their strategic goals and maximize their resources".

Jacobs has a unique career -- from tv producer to event producer. Her 17+ years of experience includes the fields of healthcare, entertainment, sports, hospitality, television production marketing, public & media relations, and special

events in both the profit and non-profit world.

Some may find it interesting that her career has taken her to NYC producing segments at the New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ, Tiffany’s and Times Square. Highlights of her career also included marketing and promoting concerts, sporting events, and family shows at the Pepsi Arena (now Times Union Center).  As Marketing Manager of the arena, she worked on NCAA Basketball Tournaments and put together a Media Blitz Tour day with NBC Sports and US Figure Skating Champion Rudy Galindo. Another memorable career moment was during her 5 years as Executive Producer for Special Projects at Capital News 9, she received her first TV Emmy in NYC for a half hour feature segment called Exterior Designs. Jacobs enjoys traveling and was employed in the hospitality industry at the Albany Marriott for 12 years working in various capacities.

Jacobs is very community-minded and passionate about making a difference in the life of others. Jacobs career path included working for three International Charities, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and The National Kidney Foundation. She also served in volunteer leadership capacities as Past President of the $2 million Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Northeastern New York Chapter and co-chair of the Annual JDRF Golf Classic.

Today, she volunteers for many organizations. Jacobs is a Board member of Public Relations Society of America of the Capital Region, Stakeholders Foundation of The Capital Region, and Board of Chancellors for JDRF. Jacobs is a committee member of the JDRF Golf Classic, Shen Community Coalition, Southern Saratoga Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner Committee, Marketing & Public Relations Committee for the Stakeholders, & Women in Development PR and Nominating Committees.

She is also a member of Southern Saratoga Chamber of Commerce, Rensselaer Chamber of Commerce and Malta Business and Professional Association. Jacobs a graduate of the University at Albany and resides in Clifton Park, NY.
