RICH MEDDAUGH

Public Relations Specialist, Sunmark Federal Credit Union

Rich Meddaugh is currently the Public Relations Specialist at Sunmark Federal Credit Union in Schenectady, N.Y., where he has served since March 2005.

Prior to his work in the Credit Union sector, he was formerly a senior account executive at Sawchuk, Brown Associates for four years, assisting the firm in its technology practice. Prior to relocating to the Capital Region, he was an account executive with Stamford, Ct. based Brodeur Worldwide. While at Brodeur, Meddaugh worked in various media relation capacities on IBM’s Personal Systems Group accounts, assisting on media tours, press events and media relation outreach for IBM Intellistation and IBM ThinkPad product lines.

Locally, Mr. Meddaugh currently sits on the board of the following Capital Region organizations: Public Relations Society of America, Gilda’s Club Youth Leadership Council, Albany Boys & Girls Club and the Albany–Colonie Chamber of Commerce’s 2008 Golf Committee. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications from Plattsburgh State University.
